Results are given of experimental investigations of 4-stroke marine engine (2NVD-18) technical condition effect on the motor oil M10G2TsC ageing process. Dependences are specified on experiment results as regression equations, which define numerically relation of some characteristics of motor oil ageing process to parameters of main engine units and parts technical condition (liner, piston, piston rings, crankshaft bearings and gas timing device). Dependences thus attained can be used to define the oil consumption for loss, its service life and cleaner operating conditions.
