As an example torsional vibrations of a conservative system are studied, methods can be used both for dissipative systems and at all kinds of partial vibrations. Results are given of experimental investigations of circulation rate and heat release method effect, when cooling internal combustion engine on the mean coefficient of the heat release from the cylinder liner to water at the standard cooling, going to boiling. A criterion equation for the mean coefficient calculation is recommended for heat release from the cylinder liner to water at superficial boiling of high speed engines similar to studied above.

An analytical method of evaluation of probable carbon deposits after the fuel combustion in diesel engines is shown. Unlike the other papers for this evaluation known heat relations of a radiant energy and total heat quantity are considered for the first time.

A base of the systematic design of the engine frame is given. The definition and the equation hierarchy of the engine frame are offered as a system of their units and parts. The method of superelements (MSE) can be used for the analysis. Main stages of calculation of the engine frame are defined, using MSE. Methodological aspects of its use are considered taken an individual diesel engine set as an example.
