Mathematical models for the calculated prediction of the influnce of operational factors on parameters of an engine, which are obtained by results of the multifactor investigation of the tractor engine type 6ChN13/11,5 (CMD-62) and processing of its materials by methods of mathematical statistics with the help of a computer, is shown. Recommendations are given for the selection of the optimal model structure for each parameters.

Method of calculation of the heat flow is shown, taking into account mean temperature of a detail surface at transient processes, and it is compared with the known method of Eihelberg. Method of evaluation of the Eihelberg's method accuracy is given when using it for heat flows analysis at transient processes.

Results of the experimental investigation of diesel type ChN15/15 parameters are shown at operation on the high-octane petrol AI-93 with the injection of the same fuel to the intake manifold. It's shown, that usage of the given system of the intake manifold permits to reduce greatly a period of the petrol ignition delay and to ensure the same nominal parameters of the diesel working process as sat its operation on diesel fuel. Evaluation of the effectiveness of usage of the system of fuel injection to the intake manifold is given at the diesel engine operation on petrol in the range of high and low loads.
