The method is described for approaching solution of the differential heat conduction equation for the engine heater pipe with the external heat supply. In order to evaluate improvement of the heater construction the use of the numerical index — coefficient of the heating non-uniformity is offered. This method allows to choose the suitable shape of the pipe surface.

Theoretical analysis is given of the turbochagerd diesel engine automatic control system, its element parameters effect on the air excess coefficient at transient when the governor load or adjustment are altered. Data to prove experimentally separate theoretical positions are given. Some requirements of this control system elements are listed to restrict the air excess coefficient decrease beneath the minimum permissible value, taking into account turbocharged engine operating conditions.

A new method for optimum cam TNv.d. profiling is offered, which allows to increase the plunger speed in the fuel injection area, and to decrease contact stresses in the pair cam-roller. Real power acting in the plunger drive is considered at designing, for that purpose the hydro-dynamic fuel supply calculation is given, and the fuel power pressure on the plunger can be defined.
