Mathematical modelling of operation of an engine of a hydrogen generator
// Dvigatelestroyeniye. — 1985. — ¹ 4. — P. 29–31.
Key words: engines.

A mathematical model is described of the operation of a continuous operating hydrogen generator, being a part of the engine installation. The model is based on boundary layer equations, relating to the spray flow of energy-accumulating elements and water. Relations are given, showing integral parameters, when receiving hydrogen at different operating conditions, using above said elements with different physical and chemical properties. An approach is proposed for the joint design, investigation and adjustment of the engine system — an automotive hudrogen generator.

Method of calculation of recuperative tubular heat exchangers of the interior circuit at the stage of the Stirling engine design
// Dvigatelestroyeniye. — 1985. — ¹ 4. — P. 31–32.
Key words: Engines.

A technique is considered of how to select reasonable geometrical sizes of recuperative tubular heat exchangers for the nominal operation of the Stirling engine at a given heater volume, thermal power, average mass consumption through the heater and a working medium parameters. Speed entropy increase in a heat exchanger channel is suggested to take it as a criterion of evaluation of recuperative tubular heat exchanger operation effectiveness. This technique is aimed to evaluate the operation of a heat exchanger with chosen geometrical sizes at different engine operating conditions.
