// Dvigatelestroyeniye. — 1986. — ¹ 7. — P. 3–6.
Key words: engines.

Materials are given on a constructive system for the inter-cylinder by-passing of exhaust gases and their cooling by water, aqueous-alcoholic and ammonia liquor solutions. Optimum constructive system parameters are defined, and also the amount of water and alternative fuels to be added. Effect of the technological chrome-plating process on the piston ring elasticity
// Dvigatelestroyeniye. — 1986. — ¹ 7. — P. 37–38, 50.
Key words: engines.

Investigation results are given of the effect of technological factors on the chrome-plating ring elasticity and their lock size. It is shown that the main factor influencing the ring properties are both the residual stress in the coating, varying at the ring assembly, and the chrome-plating thickness, increasing rigidity of a two-composition system: the ring-coating. The chrome-plating technical process increases the piston ring elasticity, which should be taken into account at the ring shape calculation, mainly at the great chrome thickness.
