A construction of an experimental installation is considered, provided for he reproduction of the heat release out of the engine combustion chamber details to the cooling liquid. A technique is given and results of calculation of the loading-deformation condition of transverse frame columns of the engine 16ChN26/26 on the base of approximation of the construction by finite elements, type of zero curvature envelopes. Evaluation is given of the result errors, considering a frame as a separate unit othethef frame element. The possibility is shown to define membrane and deflection stresses, using independent calculation models with necessary boundary conditions.

Influence of coatings on a low cycle piston ring fatigue

Investigations are carried out of a low cycle piston ring fatigue at a room temperature and a ring temperature in an engine. It is shown that the fatigue strength of heated rings is going to decrease essentially. Galvanic chroming of rings of more than 180 mkm thickness decreases the ring fatigue strength in the engine.

Features of hydrogen generator operating conditions for low toxical engines

A mathematical model is described of the operation of a hydrogen continuous action generator, included into a power plant with a low toxical engine, based on boundary layer equations in case of axial-symmetrical flow of energy accumulating substances (EAS) and water. Relations are given for comparing of time of the chemical reaction of EAS and water interaction with the time of the reacting mixture staying in the device. We also can see the optimum gas generator operating conditions, its working capacity can be defined by the engine need in hydrogen.
