A technique is offered, based on the use of equations of a condition for the ideal gas and constant gas mass, participating in the process, considering laws for variation of operating area volumes. An advantage is shown of the above technique, comparing with the technique of Schmidt on the sinusoidal law for the variation of operating area volume, taking as an example calculation for the Stirling engine of the ?-configuration with a crank and connecting rod mechanism where operating area volumes vary following the complicated law.

Numerical-experimental technique of how to define heat exchange coefficients for thermal stressed diesel engine parts

An iteration technique is offered for correction of heat exchange coefficients, based on comparison of experimental temperature parameters at some control points of the heat exchange surface, where the temperature has been measured by the method of finite elements during the iteration process. The technique effectiveness is shown on the example of definition of heat exchange coefficients for the piston head.

Stability of the fuel supply by emulsion carburettors at low air consumption

Investigation data are given of the effect of the fuel re-distribution from the idling system (XX) and the main dosing system of the emulsion carburettor in the different relations on the engine operation parameters. It is established that the increase of a range of the fuel dosing in the system XX improves engine operation parameters of the operation stability and exhaust gas NOx. The operation is considered of an experimental XX system, using advantages of dosing characteristics, the mixture composition from the XX system being increased.

Investigation results are given of the definition of a volumetric flexibility of diesel fuels and gasoline in the above-plunger area of a pump section of a series high pressure fuel pump during the active plunger stroke. An analysis is given of experimental data, comparing with calculation dependences of a volumetric flexibility of air-fuel mixtures and with results of previous experiments, carried out on installations for a single injection.

Possibilities are considered of how to increase the fuel effectiveness of the high speed diesel engine 6ChN21/21, using the heat isolation. Results are given of the calculation investigation by the method of the mathematical modelling for operation with different adiabatic variants. It is shown that the use of a power turbine is reasonable for improvement of the fuel effectiveness of a diesel engine with the heat isolation.
