Heat exchange at the impulse burning of liquid motor fuels

Results are given of experimental investigations of radiation flame characteristics, concentration of its soot particles, complicated heat exchange at the gasoline, kerosene, diesel oil burning in the impulse combustion chamber (CCh), having the constant volume at the pressure in the CCh up to 6.3 mPa and the flame temperature 2500 K, coefficients a = 0,8–l,2, and also dependence for calculation of emission flame properties and complicated heat exchange at the impulse burning of liquid motor oils. Calculation results are compared with experiment data, attained on internal combustion engines.

A method is offered to attain a uniform main shaft rotation, using stabilizing masses and their trajectory during their movement in the system of polar coordinates. One of possible constructions of the stabilizing device is offered. The stabilizing effectiveness is evaluated and the device is proved to be acceptable for an engine operating under load conditions.

Speed field at the inlet of a turbocharger losing its stability

Results are given of an analytical and numerical investigation of the speed field at the inlet of a turbo-charger under operation unstable conditions. An engineering technique is offered to define the gas flow angle on blades of a quiding first step apparatus and pitching angles, and also the penetration depth of a back upstream flow. A good coordination is shown of calculation and experiment results.

Calculation method for the process of separation of marine diesel engine motor oils

A universal dependence is given to calculate the effect of different parameters on separation of motor oils in systems of circulation lubrication of marine diesel engines. The cleaning process is defined by the summarized variable zí (separation ratio under nominal conditions) and the similarity criterion ?í (relation of typical size of particles being in the separated oil at the beginning of the process and removed by the separator during the cleaning process). The attained dependence can be put into the algorithm base at the automation control for the motor oil dispersion ability.

Completing units of plunger pairs is offered for a fuel pump with similar physical and mechanical properties, using means for non-destructive control of the precision surface. Results are given of operation tests, showing the increase of the mean-cycles-between-failures of the fuel pump on the non-uniform fuel delivery.
