An equipment is offered for automobile gas-turbine engines (AGTE), these are homogenous-diffusion combustion chambers, providing two-three times lower exhaust gas toxicity, comparing with traditional combustion chambers within the range of average and maximum loads. AGTE, having the combined homogenous-diffusion combustion chamber, emits less toxical substances than limited in OST for spark ignition petrol engines and diesel engines.

Possibilities to increase the permissible power output are investigated by extension of the range of the exhaust gas permissible temperature before turbine and by the increase of the gas temperature under nominal output conditions.

Investigation results are given of a drive loading on results of oil pump housing vibration measurements. Methods are described to decrease the drive load and increase its reliability. A calculation technique is described of an impact tooth interaction and also calculation results of the impact force, contact pressures and the tooth margin. Evaluation of the calculation accuracy of the co-impact process is given, comparing with the experimental definition of the impact force. Recommendations are offered of how to improve the drive reliability in the production and operation.

Effectiveness of carburettors with pneumatic drive of the second chamber throttle

Features are considered of the operation of a two-chamber carburettor with the pneumatic drive of the second chamber throttle, when the first chamber throttle is fully open, and that of the second chamber is partly open. The engine operation is shown to worsen. The thing can be improved if the second chamber has the better control, and predetermined conditions correspond to the higher engine speed. Here the good effect of the use of the second chamber pneumatic drive depends on characteristics of the engine for which the carburettor is provided.

Technology of the improvement of the diesel engine spring reliability

Investigation results are considered of the effect of a descarbonized layer and the surface quality on the spring reliability and relaxation stability, springs made of a wire strengthened thermomachanically. It is shown that the special preparation of the strengthened wire surface (grinding and rolling) provides 1.7 times the improvement of the organic reliability of springs made of steel 51HFA, and 2 times the increase of the relaxation strength, comparing with springs made of a non-strengthened wire.
