Advantages of the oil cooling for the engine of a limited heat release

An effect is considered of the combustion chamber heat isolation on the operation performance. Results are given of the experimental investigation of the engine with the limited heat release, using oil cooling. The reason is shown to use the oil cooling for diesel engines in order to improve their vibroacoustic characteristics, to decrease mechanical stresses and increase the life of cylinder-piston group details.

Results are given of the calculation investigation of the stress condition of the tractor engine valve drive, using the method of finite elements. Optimum rocker design is based on the use of the iteration algorithm of construction equivalent stress calculation. A model is offered of an air cooler as a heat exchanger with concentrating parameters. It s shown that the transient in the cooler, not considering the sensor and governor inertia at the load drop from 100 % to 25 % will be more than 2 min., the air temperature at that moment actually is equal to the water temperature, which is non-desirable for such a low load.

Results are given of theoretical and experimental investigations to use the ammonia-fuel mixture in carburettor engines. It is established that feeding the engine with the ammonia-fuel mixture, comparing with the pure hydrocarbon fuel, the fuel effectiveness will be 14.5 to 19.4% within the load range 25% to 100%.
