The transfer of diesel engine operation from foreign oil specification to the national production oil is proved to ensure the industry requirements (of a shipowner) of reliability parameters, effectiveness and long service life on a predetermined design level, up to the full oil shock absorption ship life before its writing off. It is shown that the use of an industrial standard in the engineering production about periods to replace the oil in diesel engine systems on parameters of their limiting condition allows to increase the effectiveness on the oil consumption within the limits up to 16,5 %.
