Divided exhaust in a diesel engine with a free turbocharger
// Dvigatelestroyeniye. — 1989. — ¹ 6. — P. 3–7.
Key words:
engines.
Investigation results are given, attained by optimization calculation, using the computer, of the diesel engine effectiveness, the diesel engine having the divided exhaust at the free turbocharger (TK) under low, full and high loads, and also at the exhaust high backpressure. The divided exhaust effectiveness is shown to define by the relation of pressure after the charger to pressure before the turbine of the main pressure (at the high relation the divided exhaust is effective at the low relation it is non-effective. At Pmi<2 MPa and TK efficiency less than 0.7 the divided exhaust of the above description is actually non-effective). Effectiveness of the divided exhaust is considered under start conditions, when TK would be a resistance.

Results are given of a calculation-experimental investigation of methods to force the fuel supply on the maximum and average injection pressure. The actual possibility is proved to ensure the maximum injection pressure up to 150 MPa and higher, using the conventional fuel injection equipment, having a mechanically driven throttle fuel pump. Advantages are shown to improve characteristics in a common TVA due to the increase of the relative mean pressure up to 0.8 or 0.85, using the developed method to force the fuel supply.

One of directions of the RIC engine automatic control is considered: the experimental definition of the transmission function of both object and his systems. A method is shown to solve the problem for linear (or close to them) objects at the disturbance as a stationer random signal (experimental data for the calculation are attained on the test bed with the controlled load).

Some regularities of the catalytic oxidation of motor oils with additives
// Dvigatelestroyeniye. — 1989. — ¹ 6. — P. 31–32.
Key words:

An effect of oil additives are considered on collection of the oil-soluble copper compound, as a result of its contact with different copper-content materials. The motor oil oxidation is shown to occur because of accumulation in it a homogenous catalyst low soluble cuprate. The combination of a copper passivator and zink ditiophosphate allows to improve anti-oxidation motor oil properties. Decrease of the oil loss for melting, increase of the oil operation time lead to the essential increase of the catalytic motor oil oxidation effect on its ageing.
