Explanation of the reason to use aluminium liquid-oil heat exchangers on tractor engines

Results are given of motorless experimental investigations of an experimental aluminium liquid-oil heat exchangers. Evaluation is given of results of attained experimental data. Motor investigations, carried out on the diesel engine MMZ D-240 (4Ch11/12.5MMZ) of the tractor MTZ-80/82, established that the use of an experimental aluminium ZhMT provides the necessary temperature conditions for the lubrication oil and cooling liquid (water) improving the engine fuel effectiveness and decreasing mass-dimension ZhMT parameters.
