An analysis and explanation are given of fuel supply process features, combustion and heat exchange in engines at the lower working medium heat dissipation. The process of deformation is studied at the heat isolated diesel engine combustion chamber. Results are described of calculation and experimental investigations of engines at the lower heat dissipation as well as proposals on their improvement.

Elements are considered of the reasonable mixture forming, and the conclusion is made that it means the mixture forming against the wall area. The main task is to make conditions to cover hydrocarbon molecules by pre-flame oxidation processes. The effect of the combustion chamber (CC) shape on the reasonable mixture forming is evaluated, and a more acceptable for this mixture forming CC is offered.

A circuit is described as well as the speed governor operation principle with the common corrector which can change the fuel cycle feed value in dependence on the boost pressure and the fuel viscosity. Results are given of the corrector experimental investigations, high pressure fuel pump with the corrector and of the experimental diesel engine with the corrector. Some reasons are considered of the decrease of the cycle feed value under operation of lightened fuels.

Some features of the use of methanol in diesel engines

A thermodynamic diagram of the methanol ignition is analyzed. Ways are offered for the stable methanol realization in diesel engines. Results are given of comparative investigations of the diesel engine operation using different methods to add the methanol alcohol to the diesel fuel (DT) (direct mixing) with DT, introduction of catalytic vapor decomposition into the fresh charge, injection into the cylinder. Perspectives are evaluated of the use of each of them.
