Equation of conservation of energy
// Dvigatelestroyeniye. — 1990. — ¹ 12. — P. 3–5.
Key words:
engines.
Equations of condition and conservation of energy of a simple quasi-equilibrium thermodynamic system are shown to be similar to thermodynamics concepts. Bui the equation of conservation of energy of a simple non-equilibrium system is only a differential expression of the condition equation. A physical nature of entropy is defined. The so called principle of the entropy increase is shown not to be the common law of thermodynamics. A main principle is given of the Nature arrangement as well as the original energy source in the Nature, which is the space-time substance transformation.

Two-dimensional modelling of a turbulent flow in a piston engine at admission and compression
// Dvigatelestroyeniye. — 1990. — ¹ 12. — P. 11–12.

Hydraulic characteristics of the diesel engine cylinder-piston group
// Dvigatelestroyeniye. — 1990. — ¹ 12. — P. 13–14.
Key words:
engines.
Calculation results are given and explained for channel consumption coefficients of gas flow from the cylinder to the crankcase, and non-density in the diesel engine ChN26/26 cylinder-piston group. The calculation technique is offered for coefficients of hydraulic resistence of flow channels. Regularities are given of variation of consumption coefficients of flat ring slots in dependence on relative ring shifts in the piston groove. These regulations can be used in design models of the cylinder-piston group.

One of directions is considered of the automation for the after-operation (passive) control of detail geometrical parameters in the diesel engine industry, using robot-technological measuring complexes (PTIK). PTIK is described to control sizes, ovality and taper of the diesel engine plunger liner hole. Methods are given for the detail coding at their grading for quality groups and diagnosis of plunger liner PTIK main units.

A technique is given of the synthesis of both mathematical diesel engine model and turbocharging, based on the decomposition principle, and presented as a system of differential equations, algebraic polynom and additional calculation formulas. This technique considers both static and dynamic properties of the engine itself, turbocharger, charge air cooler, inlet manifold, fuel equipment and can be effectively used to make automatic control systems of high quality for the diesel engine operation. Results are given of modelling of the object of interest, using the computer, then the experimental check, proving their good convergence.

For the first time problems are described, relating to the development of theoretical grounds, practical use and development of piston rings, having more improved parameters on the lubrication and friction. Original data are given of more essential investigations of lubrication conditions and friction of combine and tractor engine rings. Relations are given, describing tribology of the pair: ring-RIC engine cylinder. Modern tendences are considered of how to improve rings by the decrease of friction losses and preservation of the carrying oil layer working capability.

Improvement of the heat exchange effectiveness on developed surfaces at conditions non forced on Reinolds figures

An analysis is given of the effect on the thermal-hydraulic effectiveness (TGE) at Re 3000 of different geometrical parameters for different beam types: smooth straight tubes,, individually ribbed lubes, collective ribbed tubes at their cross flow-around by the heat carrier flow. Individual recommendations on their improvement are grounded for each type of beam. On the base of the analysis and summary of results a model is assumed of a high effective surface at 3000. In a unit of its volume it has the maximum possible sources to make whirls (stern zones, bulges and cavities, flow turns, sharp edges).
