Mixture forming at the diesel engine operation on water-in-fuel emulsions

An equilibrium evaporation is considered of a single drop of the water-in-fuel emulsion at the constant temperature on its surface. The definite factor is shown to reduce time of the pure fuel drop evaporation and that is the microexplosion. Calculation results are given of the pure fuel drop evaporation time relation to the time of the microexplosion of the water-in-fuel emulsion of different water content at different compression ratio in combustion chambers.

Differential equation of the first thermodynamics law for description of an indicator diesel engine process, taking into account defects of a working medium

A differential equation is given of the first thermodynamics law, valid for the diesel engine cylinder, here the working medium is considered as the real gas mixture. Mathematical dependences are defined between thermal, and caloric parameters of the working medium (gas thermodynamic properties are described using the equation of the real gas condition). Defects of the working medium are proved to be considered when modelling the diesel engine operation at the maximum pressure.

Data are given of experimental investigations of an improved diesel engine 12Ch13/14 SARCh with a parallel correcting device (PK.U), and a reduction gear in the generator drive of the portable welding machine AS-81 on the base of the tractor K-701. The improved machine AS-81 is shown to be used as a feeder for the suspended welding machine K-584M for the contact butt welding of pipes of small and medium diameters as well as the mobile power generating plant of 200 kW.

Energetic and ecological parameters are considered of a single-shaft non-regenerative gas turbine diesel engine cycle of 30 kW in the control system of constant, and variable. turbocharger rotor speed. It is shown that at nÒÊ = var. within the range of partial loads and at idling a gas turbine diesel engine blows exhaust gas out up to 6.4 times less noxious substance, and its effectiveness on the fuel is going to 50 % increase than at nÒÊ = const.
