Search of anomaly reasons of the fuel delivery to diesel engines DM-21 (6ChN21/21 and BChN21/21)
// Dvigatelestroyeniye. — 1991. — ¹ 1. — P. 18–21.
Key words: engines.

The reason of anomaly detected at the fuel equipment operation on the diesel engine 6DM21 (ChN21/21) is defined to be the difference between cam angle speeds of different fuel pump sections and as a result real speeds of their plungers on the active stroke area. Decrease of the torsional fuel pump drive pliability allowed to decrease the fuel supply process anomaly.

Results of calculation-experimental investigations of the temperature condition of the engine 8Ch13/14 cylinder liner
// Dvigatelestroyeniye. — 1991. — ¹ 1. — P. 49–51.
Key words: engines.

Results are described of calculation-experimental investigations of cylinder liners having both smooth and ribbed cooling surfaces. The groove boring is shown to decrease the liner wall thickness, increase of the cooling surface area and turbulence of the sprinkler flow. These factors effect the temperature of the heat adopting liner wall of the engine 8Ch14/13 when operating under conditions of the nominal power. This temperature was decreased by about 8% which was followed by the piston temperature decrease, and thus by increase of the time interval between the motor oil replacement and the engine life.
