A technique is proposed as well as the experimental installation for the dynamic scavenging of the engine inlet system. Results are given of the investigation of filling of the engine KAZ-642 cylinders, and a new air supply system is offered having individual pipelines, allowing to decrease the fuel consumption and exhaust gas smoke parameters.

Analysis of the load distribution on fillets of screw in threaded joints, used in diesel engines

Results of the experimental investigation of the load distribution on the metric thread height show that unlike conventional regulations the load on fillets of screw is distributed evenly on the great part of the threaded area. A physical grounding is given of the attained regulation, and the engineering calculation technique is described of the axis effort distribution on the thread height, it has a good coordination with experimental data.

Equations for variable gas pressure force in the cylinder are given for the two-stroke RIC engine.

An original calculation technique, using the computer, is described of the diesel engine turbocharger transient at the load increase and additional air supply to the inlet pipeline before the charger Results are given of the calculation investigation oi the rotor TKR-11 dynamics for the engine SMD. A possibility is shown to decrease the rotor acceleration time and stabilization of the air-fuel relation twice as much at rational additional air supply at the initial transient period of time.

Long time operating motor oils

Developed tested and accepted for use new, long time operating motor oils M-SG2U and M-10G2U are described, used for automobile engines, providing the engine life twice as much of the period of time between the oil and filter replacements. Concerning the service oil parameters (properties) they are in 110 way inferior to foreign analogues of the Class CC SAE 20W/20, SAE 30 and exceed national motor oils M-8G2K and M-l0G2jK. Oils successfully passed rig test and service tests on engines YaMZ-238M and KAmAZ-740 of automobiles MAZ, KrAZ, KAmAZ.

A possibility is shown to realize the gas diesel engine process with an internal mixture forming by injection of liquefied casing-head gas into the diesel fuel in high pressure lines of fuel delivery systems.
