About energy dissipation at supercritical gas outflow through outlet RIC engine chaniiels
// Dvigatelestrojenie. ˜ ˜ 7. ˜ 1991. ˜ P. 3˜6.
Keywords: diesel engines.

A method is described of the experimental definition of energy loss at the supercritical gas outflow through outlet channels during the static scavenging of gas outlet channels of the diesel engine cylinder cover. At small valve opening gas consumption limits are shown to have place when pressure relations are less than the critical value, which shows the static pressure recovering in the outlet channel part. Values are given of coefficients of the fuel pressure recovering and effective passage area of channels at different pressure relations and different valve lifts for cylinder covers of diesel engines ChN26/26 and ChN30/38 of the Kolomna locomotive Works.

Investigation of gas-collecting casings of axial type units for the diesel engine supercharging
// Dvigatelestrojenie. — 1991. — ¹ 7. — P. 6-8.
Keywords: diesel engines.

Results are given of the experimental investigation of gas- collecting casings of axial type units for the diesel engine supercharging. It is shown that the flow twist in the axial casing, which shifts the angle epure of the flow stream on nozzle ring blades into the field of negative angles of attack, allows to decrease the curvature of the nozzle ring channel, and finally decrease its profile losses. Coefficients of losses of axial casings, having different geometric relations, are within the range 0.10˜0.15.
