Development of methods of acoustic diesel finishing

New method is proposed of acoustic diesel finishing permitting in the range of frequencies 300—10 000Hz to reduce vibration, noise and vibration overload of components and systems. Method is realized by using computers and is based on using of experimental indicator diagrams of working process and damped oscillations of diesel construction.

Precision positioning of high pressure fuel pump (HRFP) rack by means of microprocessor system control and operation of engine fuel equipment

Procedure is proposed of calculative investigations based on computer programmes of hydrodynamic calculations of diesel fuel equipment and mathematical modelling of diesel working cycle. Parameters are given of fuel pump diesel 8 FS 13/14 operation depending on rotational frequency of camshaft and crankshaft and HRFP rack coordinates recieved by means of calculations and also relationships, permitting to forecast the changes of parameters of fuel pump and diesel 8 FS 13/14 operation when the HRFP rack positioning error is in the range of 0—0,5 mm.

Development and investigation of working capacity of oil pump with automatically changed delivery

Questions are considered of fuel and motor oil saving by autotrac tor engines by means of lubricating systems design improving, in particular, oil pump. Results are given of motorless test bed investigations of a new construction of oil pump, lubricating system with automatically changed delivery during autotractor engine operation. Conclusion is made of advisability of usage of pumps with automatically changed delivery in the lubricating system of ICengines.

Comparative analysis of marine engines speed governors

Difference is shown of dynamic behaviour of isodrom feedback with idle and rotary throttles. Advantages are shown of power isodrom feedback over kinematic feedback. Advisability is estimated of hydraulic damping of valve plunger. It is recommended for improvement the governor response on the regimes of load drop and load raise to restrict the value of signal of isodrom feedback. Amplitude frequency characteristics of diesel installation with hydro- mechanical and electronic governors are compared.

Designing of automotive engines corresponding to the standards on exhaust emissions.

Possible ways of designing automotive diesels for big transport buses and main motor-vehicle trains. Analysis shows the advisability of providing high reserve of torque for big transport buses. Examples are given of usage of diesel combined charging. One of the variants was tested on experimental diesel KAMAZ. For main motor vehicle trains the calculative analysis shows the advisability of usage a compaund installation including diesel with turbocharging and power turbine. It was considered the application on diesels the fuel delivery equipment of accumulative type with electrocontrolling hydraulic driven pumps-nozzles, electronic control system and also purification and neutrilization OG systems.
