The history is proposed of creation and development of diesel˜engineering at Rizhskiy plant ˜Felzer and Co˜ where in 1905 the first engine was produced. In 1915 shifted the base to the city of Nizhniy Novgorod the plant recieved the name of ˜Dvigatel revolutsii˜ and it became one of the leading dieselmanufacturing plant of the country. Analysis is given of calculative investigations conducted by means of numerical modelling dealing with the problem of usage of power turbine ChN32/35. It is known that by these measures ˜ the specific fuel consumption could be reduced up to 4,5 g/kWh when Pmax= 16 MPa and ˜ = 13 and it could reach the value of 186,1 g/kWh.
