Description is proposed of diagnostic golography complex for investigation of fuel stream structure during diesel cyclic injection into the medium with backpressure. The injection is made by means of fuel pump of Kamaz engine on real operating regimes. Experimental results are given on macro- and microstructure of fuel stream.

It is shown that methods of smoothing out proposed by ChPI and CNIDI are the methods of numerical filtration. Amplitude and phase-frequency characteristic of filters are proposed. It was revealed that filters create non-linear phase error during smoothing out. To avoid this ChPI proposed the time inversion with double smoothing out. General characteristics of reversible muultifilter are proposed.

Results are proposed of vibration investigation of gas turboblower VIR 304-2 during operation together with mairi engine 6ChN 40/46-1. Gas turboblower dynamic characteristics recieved by means of artificial excitation are proposed. After replacement of standard GTB VTR 304-2 by GTB TK-35B-08M the measurement and analysis were made during its operation. It was shown that frequencies are the main parameters which define the operation of engine parts and components.

Here is proposed the methodology and results of calculation of optimal process of heat supply for the cycle of the high pressure charging diesel. Mechanizm is shown of changing the angles of starting and finishiong of heat supply, which should be taken into account during the choice of geometry of plunger edge of high pressure fuel pump.

Numerical and experimental results are proposed of investigation of inlet installation of axial turbine charging unit. Calculative investigations of inlet installations were made by means of method of final elements. The model of three-dimentional potential flow was used for imitating the working medium. The investigation was made of back influence of nozzle unit on flow structure into inlet installation. The method is proposed of calculation of inlet installation with taking into account the back influence of nozzle unit. The main feature of the method is in the way of installing the finite conditions.

The article is devoted to the problem of raising the efficiency of forced diesels of mean specific speed & reliability of high pressure fuel pump drive. The results are given of calculative and experimental investigation of optimal concavo-convec profile of fuel cam and construction of cam shaft for forced engines D-50 (4Ch31,8/33) which provide the necessary reduction of specific fuel consumption and reliable operation of driving mechanizms of plunger and governor of diesel revoltions number.
