Fuel efficiency of anaerobic diesel

Results are given of calculative investigations of working process of anaerobic diesel of closed cycle. It was defined that ballast component of working medium provides the more effective efficiency the less is its mole heat capacity. For working medium with argon the effective efficiency increases to 25% when prognosis of effective efficiency is 44% instead of 35% when working with air mixture and decreasing of fuel consumption to 20%.

Results are proposed of investigations of designing the mathimatical modulus of defining extreme levels of heat exchange along outer surfase circuit of the injector, of difining temperature range and prognosis of heat conditions of the injector when supercharging is different. Variants are recommended of constructive and technological measures of injector temperature reduction to safe level.

Ways of increasing of fretting resistence of main diesel inserts

Mechanizm is considered of fretting—corrosion of outer surface of main inserts in conjunction with forming «bed» of camshaft bearing of the engine 2-3/(2x3). The reasons are analyzed of appearance and propogation of fretting—corrosion failures. Results are proposed when insets with different protection coatings are tested. Galvanic coatings don't provide necessary protection from failure. The best results were recieved for splid—lubrication composition VFP-5, litol lubrication with 2% addition of friction geomodificator, introduction of oxides of soft metals, friction and mechanical brassing together with vibration knurling.

Reduction of locomotive exhaust emissions

Estimation is given of exhaust emissions of railroad transport which constitutes 6% (1,9 mln/t/per year) of the emissions of the transport complex of RF. The technology is proposed of reduction the NOx emissions in 2,5-3 times (about 5,0 g/kWh) constitute 1000$ per one engine.
