Optimization of operating values for portable oil pumping station

Portable unit is described designed for pumping petroleum products from tank cars to airport fuel tanks. The unit is based on Russian make Z1L-I3I truck chassis. Full-scale test have been carried out in order to optimize operating values for the unit. It was found in particular that maximum fuel head was achieved at oil pump speed=2400 RPM, when operating in critical no-cavitation mode.
